My collection of Ang Baos, being this year is the year of the cow, i still recieve some red packets of rooster design. No complains though because every packet counts @($.$)@Every year without fail, my grandparents will give me the most amount, sometimes even more than the consolidated ones of the year. Since I started to work and is better well off, during the new year I'll give them red packets too, to contra off the amount. As usual they will nag and nag and reject but they can't win over my agile hands. 1 slip, in the pocket it goes...
This is the 1st year I spend the festive season with my grandma only. My grandpa passed away last year just after CNY. It's been a year but I could still felt his presence, I missed him so much. Well, my grandma is happy with all of us eating her delicious cooked food and like as always, when we leave she would go to her kitchen window and peek, waving goodbye to us.
I wish my grandma being strong and healthy always...
